Don't buy a handpan from Temu...

i bought one (my only one) from temu for around $200.... mine is pretty damn decent for the price tbh (albeit slightly out of tune) and good as an entry point to try the instrument. Still trying to save the thousands of $ required for a good brand

Can you at least note which seller? There are many companies selling and not all are amateurs. Many have been making handpans for over 10 years. There are excellent handpans on Temu now.

Tag the seller! This is not a fault of Temu but by the sellers. Temu just provides. Mainly sh*t yeah but let’s just cut the crap and tag the seller.

I actually got a decent "cheap" one from Amazon. But I spent tons of time scrutinizing reviews and many, many talked about out of tune...HA. I finally found one that had a lot of reviews and no mention of tuning problems. Fortunately it worked out. But this is definitely a big problem when going with these big outlets instead of an actual company that specifically makes and deals with pans.

.. yes I ended up sending mine back because of the same thing it was such a dead tone it was a beautiful piece to look at but it sure did not play at all

I bought mine from Temu. It's an amazing instrument well worth the money £148.00 inc a case. Yes a £3, 500 pan will sound better, but why chuck money away on an instrument that you might not take too.
