I think the cave is a good contender for 2014, it successfully captured the basics of Minecraft in a very affordable set and was one of the only ones I had for a while

Honestly the earlier sets were the best because they were more simple and just… captured the feeling of Minecraft. The newer ones feel more flashy and in your face.

While im stil getting the Lego Minecraft sets for collections reasons it just doesnt feel like 2014 - 2017
I also would love to see more naturally generated terrain or structures than all these mob houses ... and with one mayor minecraft update per year there would be so much things they could realize without repitition
With the beginning of 2018 it also trigered me hardcore that they changed some of the basic design elements like the mentioned "one block elevation"

But i guess i keep hoping every year to see a new iconic D2C-Set like 21128 and 21137 again ... maybe in the future

Also, WHERE IS THE PIG HOUSE!?!?!?
It is genuinely one of the funest set in the entire Minecraft catalog. Oh and in case you never seen a review on it or don’t have it, it’s so fun. It has this one feature where you push down a level in and back and the whole entire house falls apart. It’s also fully enclosed (but can open up) it’s also really fun to build

My favorite set of the Wave is the Badlands Mineshaft because of the return of the Husk and don't you dare get me started on the mountain cave or the waterfall base!😊😅

My first ever and only set until 2017 was 2014 the first night on my birthday, man they REALLY need to bring back wooden tools, its been 10 years and yet maximum we get from starter gear is stone tools

I’ve been a fan of Minecraft Lego ever since 2016. But with that mind the time that I first got my first ten Minecraft lego sets was also the time that Lego had a little less creativity when it came to Minecraft skins in Lego form. That means that I had a very large amount of copy and pasted Steve and Alex figures. I currently have 13 Steves and 16 Alexes.
