I suspect long Covid. Never tested positive for the virus but around the same time it was everywhere I developed blood clots, chronic shortness of breath, choric tiredness, heart palpitations, thoracic outlet syndrome (in both arms!).

I have chronic chest pains, chronic stomach pain, life is a nightmare! And I'm only 41!!!

I heard people with long Covid should NOT be active. It can make things worse. Rest is necessary to heal.

ALSO, short term memory lost, getting worse as times and it's the most crazy feeling!

Thank you for this video.
As someone whose dad ended up in the hospital twice because of long Covid, it's nice to know that we aren't alone in this struggle.
Out of my family, I was the only one to get vaccinated, and the only one who didn't end up severely sick.
I respect people's choices in whatever they wish to do, but I reached a breaking point when my dad ended up on a respirator.
It's not okay to force people to be vaccinated. It's not okay to walk around without a mask. It's not okay to dismiss people who are suffering from the after effects of a disease. It's not okay to assault doctors and medical workers.
It's simply not okay to treat other people like a virus.

PLEASE, I need help - I suffer from Long Covid. I cannot catch my breath and I have many symptoms. I have no energy, I feel like I have the flu all the time, extreme pain in my arms and shoulders and I suffer from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I have had 17 operations to repair damage to the veins in my legs and today I will undergo surgery to repair damage to the arteries in one of my legs and further surgery to my other leg. I am worried about damage that has occurred to my entire vascular system. I cannot walk even 10 feet without collapsing. I do not want to die, I have not recovered from Covid since January 10 2021

Ive had covid 3 times. Vaccines when available. But I've had Long Covid since first infection 17th March 2020. I was telling my Doctors that i thought i had Long Covid before they were up to speed with it. 3.5 years later, I still have it. Being Asthmatic i knew I was going to get it easily. Ive not felt the same since.

I am currently covid positive for the first time. Symptoms started showing after a 10 km walk/jog one afternoon. I have been wondering about going for a short walk, so I really appreciated Derek Williams discussion of return to exercise.

physical therapy is dangerous, and actually malpractice for those suffering from Post Exertional Malaise (PEM) i.e. If you worsen 12 to 48 hours after exercise then you are risking permanent worsening from it. Those people need to 'pace' instead, with multiple rests between any chore. You need to find your base line maximum of exertion that doesn't trigger PEM and stay well below it. doing your best to avoid triggering PEM, because it is reminding the immune system to keep making the same mistake over and over again.

Avoiding PEM completely should eventually allow the immune system to reset. That could take months or even a few years. But the alternative of 'pushing through' will make you never recover

LMAO @ "Simulating Long Covid" You wanna simulate long covid? Heres what you do : (Make sure you dont sleep at all for 2 days before you do this btw.) Go run a full marathon, then at the end of it have a friend hit u in the head as hard as they can. once you've done this now you need to take 3 shots of vodka. Now start your day. Every day. Now you are in the ballpark.

Endothelial damage in micro-vessels can explain most long COVID symptoms - it's the capillaries where nutrients are absorbed, oxygen is Body parts tend to function poorly after awhile at a deficit of nutrition and oxygen it would seem.

I'm 74 and in my 12th month of Long-COVID.

I have daily extreme fatigue, restricted breathing, and loss of balance with falling episodes.

Here in Phoenix, Arizona, the medical community has NOT fully embraced the reality of Long-COVID due to its political connotations.

I had both primary vaccines, which I 100% regret bring pressured by my family physician into getting.

After the second vaccine, my general health began to decline by the month until I finally contracted COVID-19 in January 2022, which progressed into Long-COVID by March 2022.

Each night, just before going to bed, I look around my bedroom and think: tonight is it; I will not see the morning sun.

Sheltered in place and have a slew of high risk people around I care about. Masked up, vaccinated, etc. Nobody in my circle got covid. Including myself.

BUT… I was vaccinated (Moderna) and later in 2023 I collapsed at home with AFIB and SVT. Cardiac anxiety is my worst enemy. One out of rhythm beat or a palpitation and I’m set off. I had an ablation and along with meds things are manageable but I can’t help in the back of my mind wondering about the association of certain things to others. I am pro-scientific evidence. Not kooky mommy blog science. But like I said, there is some doubt in the back of my mind.

I feel for anyone dealing with an illness that affects your daily life. I hope you all return to health soon. Much Love.

My wedding photographer caught Covid in May of 2020 and developed long covid.
He still hasn't recovered, and at this point is starting to contemplate whether the damage is permanent.
