Patient Advocate Maureen Smith tells us about the brand new Continuity of Care Guide for Patients and Caregivers.

The Guide was developed and co-designed by CPSO and the Citizen Advisory Group, a group that helps bring the patient voice and perspective to healthcare regulation in Ontario.

We hope that this Guide will be beneficial as it contains information and FAQs about walk-in clinics, test results management, specialist referrals, and doctors' availability and coverage. This is a great resource that was created by and for patients and caregivers.

Of course its a patient advocate that has to do this speech. The doctors dont care and will take any interpretation of guidelines and CPSO policy they want in order to deny helping "problem" patients.
