One other tip with the Radial: if you hold the Alt key (on Mac), you can control one side, or top or bottom individually to handle situations where you need to nudge one edge out a bit.
That can save time by eliminating the need to do erasing. Try it !

Now, if they could just add a rectangular 'radial' option to handle rectangular and square shapes.
