Hi Mathieu I love your work and your channel! Even though I do like the quick tips I wish they were a tiny bit longer, this seems a bit rushed just to make it fit into 30 seconds. Great work as usual nevertheless!

Thats more or less what I do with every photo; I duplicate, then gaussian blur, set the layer to soft light. I duplicate again and convert to Greyscale, run a High-pass and set the layer to overlay. I also change the opacity as needed.

Ive done this over and over and every single time I go to paint nothing changes and my black layer doesnt show im painting in white at all??? help please
