Creed was great, I remember buying Weathered for my brother for his birthday. Commercially they did very well but they never really got the respect they deserved. This is one of their songs that really showcases the band's songwriting capabilities.

This song is honestly a masterpiece. It really helps me deal with difficult feelings of being betrayed by many people in life, & questioning the ones who I can really trust now. I love to blast it out on full volume in my room, it’s great for my mood. 😄🎸🤘

This song is done so unique with the guitar and bass lines. You don't know where it's going but all of it works expertly. Even the vocals go in a direction you're not expecting. EPIC!!!

The Bo Taylor native Cherokee prayer at the start still gives me chills

Incredible. Reminds me of a particular Alanis song title "uninvited"

Here on the day before presale for the Summer of ‘99 tour. Taking us back to when America was much easier to live in. Probably top 5 tracks for me from them - if I’m honest, top 3. If they play this when I see them in Hershey, I would die happy. 2023 and still Creed holds a place for me - soundtrack of my childhood.

Most underrated song by creed!
Brilliance of lyrics that climb into reality of our times

Who's got my back now?
When all we have left is deceptive
So disconnected
What is the TRUTH now!

Run, hide, all that was sacred to us
Sacred to us, see the signs
The covenant has been broken by mankind
Leaving us with no shoulder, with no shoulder

To rest our head on
To rest our head on
To rest our head on

Who's got my back now?
When all we have left is deceptive?
So disconnected
What is the truth now?

What is the truth now?

There's still time, all that has been devastated
Can be recreated, realize
We pick up the broken pieces of our lives
Giving ourselves to each other, ourselves to each other

To rest our head on
To rest our head on
To rest our head on

Who's got my back now?
When all we have left is deceptive
So disconnected
What is the truth now?

Who's got my back now?
When all we have left is deceptive
So disconnected
What is the truth now?

What is the truth now?
Tell me the truth now
What is the truth now?

What is the truth now?
Tell us the truth

Who's got my back now?
When all we have left is deceptive
So disconnected
What is the truth now?

Who's got my back now?
When all we have left is deceptive
So disconnected
What is the truth now?

What is the truth now?
Tell us the truth now
What is the truth now?
Tell us the truth now
Tell me the truth now

I’ve loved this song since elementary school when I would steal my brother’s CDs. It’s like a station wagon with a turbo V8
