First of all my dad didn’t “die suddenly” and he didn’t get sick from “using contaminated medical supplies” good job making him sound like a junkie. My dad (who was a critical care nurse) was stuck by a dirty needle wile trying to start a IV on a combative patient. This isn't the first time I've heard that a few family's lost there homes. do to this show it's a really good show but they have to really think about what their doing when remodeling these homes Model them to their budget to something they can afford.

It is absolutely the bank’s fault that the family who just had their house remodeled caused them to become homeless. The bank should be brought to justice for foreclosing on the remodeled home and let the family move back in. In fact, the bank that foreclosed on the remodeled home should be shut down and forced to stay closed forever.

This is the fault of the bank and ABC. ABC knows they’re helping families who are already having financial difficulties. They should give them a trust to help pay for these issues.

I think it's the banks fault and hers too! If you're a single mom struggling with 3 kids, the first thing you do is sell that house since is worth more and buy something you could afford when you're in that position you can't hold on to material things or give your kids what they want everyone needs to come together and compromise...

before you buy a house should understand the yearly taxes and break it down monthly in pay it every month if you can't afford them at the time that you're buying the house it is not worth it ask as many questions as you can before you purchase a property or a home everything out if you can't afford it then you don't get it if your married see if you can afford it if your significant other passes away if not don't buy the house

Lesson from life, let go of things you cant afford, dont live above your means, and move on when things happen! Losing that monster was a blessing!

It's insane that when you improve any property, the property taxes go up. The house is not really yours unless you possess allodial title. Instead the property is in actuality owned by the State, Province, township, corporation. Home ownership is a scam otherwise. Spend your hard earned slave wages on improving "your" property and then pay more to live in it. How insane is that?
Sad to say, we are living in a system of feudalism and the plantation is everywhere.

Ocwen is a debt collector they even say so, when you call them. They are shady. I had a similar thing happen to me as ocwen who said they where handling my mortgage and in fact they where not.Ocwen pulled alot of shady stuff. Specifics left out. And state if ocwen is involved run away as fast as you can find a different company, fast.

It is the fault of the "CITY" and the "TAXES" that were charged on someone who was struggling to begin with but the city government just couldn't help being "GREEDY"! They knew this family needed help but raising the taxes on someone who really needed the upgrades to live a better life.

I still can't figure out which bank did the foreclosure. But, I do know of at least 2 other similar stories that involved the same bank which made sickening profits from booting people out of their homes for property tax problems..

Well if Arlene kept the receipts for the payments then the bank could have worked with that. It was the banks fault. They wanted more money and ripped the family and show off.

Ocwen is the same bank that screwed me over!!! I thought I was the only one!! I'm still fighting to keep my home but losing time quickly. Early next month it goes up for auction :'(
