I've always wondered how those color-switching printers work, I've only ever used single-filament printers.
I remember hearing something about a color-blending printer that took a spool each of cyan, magenta, yellow, black, and white to make any color possible like a 2D printer would, but I don't even know if that was a real thing or if I just dreamed it at some point.

I worry that the entire maker community are moving to the Bambulab printers. There's quite a bit of proprietary stuff and it doesn't seem to be very user serviceable. I'm sure they're amazing printers but they seem to have made this giant push to become the dominant printer on the market and I find it concerning

Someday these things are gonna be so easy, too easy. Like a 2D printer😂 it’s already pretty damn easy. Hardest part is tuning at troubleshooting, which usually corresponds in difficulty to the price you paid. But even in the 2 year gap between when I got mine and now. Soooo many came out. And they are mostly pre assembled now!

very nice setup! but I do have to ask if the upper printer shelf has a support in the middle? could be camera lens but I see some bow in the shelf and I'm about to cry thinking of the printer and ams unit hitting the floor from that height.
