If I am not mistaken she is the daughter of Shri Ram Shankar Ji, a legendary singer himself and often appears as a judge in Zee Sa Re GA MA.🛎 She herself has appeared in one of the singing reality shows and was one of my favorite contestants. Wonderful to see her graduating in this musical journey, God bless her.

पूरी टीम के उस्तादों को दिल की गहराईयों से सलाम। क्या संगीत लहरी है, मानो आसमान से फूलझड़ी की बारिश हो रही हो। क्या समां है! वाह, मज़ाआ गया।स्नेहा तो स्नेहा है सधी आवाज़ की मलिका, इस बच्ची को दिल से कोटि कोटि नमन। इस बच्ची ने इंडियन आइडल 15 के सीजन में धमाल मचा रखा था। ऐसी जादुई अंदाज है इसके गायन में , वर्णन करना शब्दों में तो सम्भव एकदम नहीं। आत्मा से गायन करती है यह चमत्कारी बच्ची। हजारों वर्ष जियो मेरी प्यारी स्नेहा।

I first heard Rash-me-ulfat, composed by the iconic Madan Mohan ji, when in college. When he composed this lovely song in Raag Madhuvanti, it appeared light and not complex like its Thaat Todi. It was melodious, it was soulful, it was majestic. And classy, like any other Madan Mohan composition. I fell in love with this modern raag and went on to listen to the masters: Pandit Jasraj, Ustad Sultan Khan, Bhimsen Joshi, Hariprasad Chaurasia, Rashid Khan, Ravi Shankar,
Veena Sahasrabuddhe etc.

I reached this site searching for more renditions of Madhuvanti and am very happy to hear this relaxed and composed rendition of Rash-me-ulfat. Sneha Ji seems to enjoy herself and what is more, encourages her troupe to perform just as well. Very pleasant indeed!!!
