In this English lesson, you will learn how to say money in English. Many English learners don't know how to say money (e.g., $1.35). In this lesson I teach you how to say dollars and cents. And I show you Canadian coins too! Also, you'll learn how to have a simple conversation for shopping. When you go to checkout, you need to know what to say to the cashier. I'll teach you the English vocabulary and culture you need to go shopping, buy what you need, and get the right amount of change!

South Korea (ROK) tend to pay by credit card.
North Korea can only pay by cash ... never use credit card in NK.

Your teaching is amazing. Thanks a lot!

This video helped me a lot, thank you!! In my country (Brazil), it is very common to use debit and credit, however, many places only accept cash, so it’s important to always carry cash in our wallet.

Hi! A very useful lesson like always!
The most common way to pay in Morocco is again the cash but the credit card is also more used in the last years. For me, I pay the phone, the water, the electricity, the university and other charges with credit card.

In my country, most people pay with their credit card because the company of credit card give them a lot of benefit like mileage or credit point and can get a discount when people go to a restaurant. when we go to the theater to watch the movie, usually pay with credit card to get a discount over 30% off. So paying by credit card is one of the best way in my country.

thank you for all of your lesson.

We always use to pay with cash in Myanmar. It's rare to pay with debit or credit card because our country is slow develop in payment system. Currency name is called 'Kyat'. A smallest note is 50 Kyats and the biggest note is 10, 000 Kyats. I'm one of your students. I watch your video and learn to improve my english. Thank you so much.

In my country China, people seldom pay things by cash, especially young people. We would like to use our cellphones to scan a QR Code, then the payment is done, super convenient.

Very useful episode as usual.
In my country ( Saudi Arabia) mostly people pay by cash and some times we use debit card.
We rarely use coins, except in car park.

In Mexico, the most common way to pay is using cash. Recently, in many places can pay with credit (mainly in big cities.). With debit card is not so common.

This information is helpful for me. I´m going to Canada in about a month and I didn´t know well what kind of coins are there.

I will be glad if you make a video talking about tip.

Many Thanks.
