Security Question: I installed the Aqara 300. When the lock is closed, the handle on the outside prevents it from opening, but the latch doesn't lock. You can see this in your video in 4:08. So, by sliding a piece of paper between the frame and the door, you slide the latch open and the door opens. Is there any way to prevent this? Thanks!

I just noticed that your latch is not from Aqara. Does it mean that I could install it with my old latch?

I like that it doesn’t lock you in, despite being locked externally, but can you manually engage the lock from the inside if you don’t have auto lock enabled?

As a locksmith it's nice it's got a physical key, that means I can pick it open in about 2 seconds & that the very reason I wouldn't put one on my home, other than maybe on an internal door.

Like this lock very much, but sadly it's not available in China mainland now.😭 (Even Aqara is a China manufacturor😅). Hope it will be available soon this year.

Awesome lock, BUT, it won't connect to HomeKit. I have spent many hours (along with Aqara help) configuring, reconfiguring, and factory resetting the lock, M3 and apple 4k hubs. Nothing works. I have basically given up and just use the Aqara app, thumb print, and code. I originally wanted this lock to use my Apple watch, and have remote access. It;s sad.
