His biggest challenge of the whole race was rounding the corner next to Stroll

That turn 8 move on 4 cars was just mental😂
One of the best opening laps from a driver in the history

Damn, Leclerc really thought he was Alonso in his Ferrari days for a second there 😅

And the way he was standing after the race. Could see how much he wanted to get the constructors for Ferrari. Great lad.

Bro loves Ferrari more than he loves himself. Few can do what he just did, he was driving like his life depended on it yet he doesn't care how he performed as Ferrari didn't win.

The way he saw the crashes and spins before they even happen, then positioned himself perfectly. Beautiful driving

And SKY Sports only acknowledged Leclerc's performance after gushing about Hamilton for 45 mins, even asking Leclerc to comment on how good Hamilton's drive was.

Don't get me wrong, Hamilton had a superb race, but going on and on about his "drive of a 7 time world champion" when Leclerc finished higher, gained more positions, and managed to gain 11 positions in 2 sectors, is peak brit in my opinion

Its interesting how the entire media was talking about Max's Brazil drive for an entire week when he went from p17 (p15 cuz stroll and alex didn't start) to p1, although with the help of a red flag and safety cars to help him close the gaps. That drive was being labeled as one of the best of all time (which it was). But Charles goes from p19 to p3 with no full safety cars or red flags, just pure overtaking, yet hardly anyone's talking about it in the media. I'm not claiming Charles's drive was quite as good as Max, but he deserves more credit than he is getting.

I've been a big fan of Leclerc since his Sauber days. He was the model of consistency this year. One DNF an 11th and 14th place finish and all the other 21 races he finished in the top 5. One of only 3 drivers to score over 300 points. There wasn't much more he could have done to win the constructors championship.

Underrated season for him, probably his best season in his F1 Career, He became more mature and his racecraft improved so much, he is the best driver on the grid after Max. People who compared Sainz with him have no idea about this sport.

He just went for it, medium tyres, new battery and put it all to good use. That is the type of start of how WDCs are truly won.

Leclerc is a generational talent. Without a doubt a future world champion in the making.

People always talk about Daniel Ricciardo's late braking but i say leclerc is super at late-braking too, if not even better.

Seeing this live on TV was insane. I knew he was gonna be gunning for positions, but the drive he did that day? I'm sorry, THAT was the drive of a world champion in my opinion. I bet if he didn't have the penalty, he would've challenged and possibly overtaken lando.

Ferrari lucked out with Max spinning Piastri and Charles drove like a champion. It's a shame that Lando and McLaren's performance kept them ahead of Sainz. This would have been a legendary victory for Ferrari but that's not how it played out.

Congrats to McLaren for winning the WCC and to Ferrari, Max and Mercedes for an amazing and competitive season. I can only hope that next season carries this momentum.

1:26 as soon as that space opens up on the outside, you can see him commit to it with zero hesitation. Incredible.
