I have had my 4Runner since I bought it new in 1997. For me I think it is time for a redesign with a whole new exterior and interior. I have been waiting a long time. Instead of getting a new car last year I just rebuilt my 4Runners engine. I am excited about seeing the new design. For off roading there are only two brands Toyota and Jeep. I have owned a Jeep before my 4Runner and never again would I own such an unreliable car. I can't tell you how many times both my Jeeps were in the dealers shop. Consumer Reports ranks the new Jeeps at the bottom of their lists for reliability. Them and Range Rovers are just horrible and break down many times.
