Interesting choice for the orchid. Maybe this one isn't blooming despite its good disposition, some take time to adapt, find its cue to bloom.
I'm mentally a jumbled mess too trying to figure out life so I would be hard pressed to find a single orchid. Best guess? My Jimmeny Cricket, which it too is in severe adaptation mode after an emergency chop chop 😩

You and I are alike!! And I think everyone lives in their own bubble. Just that most doesn’t know it. The orchid that most represent me is a Vanda Tesselata!! Species not hybrid!! Strong but simple and easy going!! Break barriers and rise above!! The orchid type always rises above!! I love you 💝💝

Good evening! Love the Ceratostylis philipinensis, such a cute mini! And I agree, it's a great question, the best thing about it is that everyone can see something different in the question and way they answer it. It's not a clear cut answer to that. The why has so many approaches to it. It's not even about everything about the orchid, you focus on certain things. The perfect question. The way of interpretation, the parts people choose, the why they present, everything tells a little bit more about them. If I may join just in comments to spread the hashtag (I'm not a video person). I'm thinking of Amesiella monticola. It's a mini, sort of like me in height. It likes things rather cooler or at most intermediate with some higher humidity and shady conditions, like me. But those are outside characteristics. Talk about on the inside, it's a monopodial, or a "loner" of sorts, it's not easy to grow them in a bush-like style, the keikis don't come as readily. I like to be alone too, not really many friends, I don't tend to go outside, stick to the family. But at the same time, there are strong roots and despite the small size and plain look, just white and green, nothing fancy, no frills or anything, just "ordinary", there's a lot of depth to be had. And I find that "depth" to be knowledge seeking. I wanna know at least something about a lot of things. I end up being ordinary, average at most things I decide to do, but there are lots of those things I'm average at (as someone I know might say, it's like the many colours that go into the white light, all the colours, but none of them is dominant). Anyway, hope it's ok to join like this, I don't own one anymore and I'll get a replacement next year. It took me a long while to even engage in youtube comments, videos are probably a looong looong way away, maybe when I retire one day :) Thank you for this video and I sincerely hope this hashtag catches on, it's an amazing one and thanks to Annavoeg Gia for suggesting it.
