HOW TO FIX ERROR F05 WASHING MACHINE WATER NOT PUMPING OUT

I had this error where my washing machine started to show an error and stop the washing cycle,
After opening the door I noticed that there was some water in the drum.
Eventually I fixed this issue please watch the video till end to see the solution

Thank you so much for making this video, I tried exactly as you described in video, and guess what. A lost sock from a week ago showed up at the end of the pipe where the ball is, exactly like you had, obviously a different sock but it was blocking the drainage of water.
PROBLEM SOLVED and washing machine is now working fine again thanks to you!! All the best, and thanks again for making the great video and helping us out!

FO5 appeared on our washer today first time I've had a go at washing a load thinking my wife would be impressed, she wasn't as she decided I killed the washer and therefore only fair if she killed me . We have no way to replace our washer so the timing couldn't have been worse...dam COVID-19!! Anyways I narrowly avoided my planned execution by watching your excellent video and hey presto our washer is working fine. BTW it wasn't a sock in my case but some coins that must have been in there for years as they were nearly worn smooth, just laying in wait for me to have a go at the washing!! Thanks for this. All the 'pro' solutions I found only got as far as clearing the filter... that step further you showed sorted it for me! Lesson... put washable face coverings in a net bag or some-such. Cheers.

I got the F05 code at the start of the first lockdown, which was a blockage at the front of the machine. I've now just cleared a blockage at the start of the second lockdown. I wasn't holding out much hope when I disconnected the black pipe but a j cloth had somehow got stuck in it. The machine is now working fine. Thanks a lot for your video.

Thank you!! This worked on my Hotpoint Aquarius. Our wash stopped mid cycle and locked the clothes inside. We unplugged the washing machine which eventually unlocked the door. We drained the water through the bottom valve and removed the clothes. Tilted the machine so I could unscrew the black pipe and remove the culprit. Cheers!

Many thanks - 2 days before Christmas and ran into this issue! Just cleared a load of crap from that pipe - looks to have done the trick!! Colour retainer sheets were the main culprit!!! Happy Christmas

Like everyone else says, "Thank you so much for this video!!!"
I had cleaned out 93 cents from the front of the machine. After watching this video I cleaned out this other area. There was no sock but I actually had change that had passed that white ball and was in the flexible pipe between that connection and the pump. Ten quarters, 9 dimes, 2 nickels and 16 pennies. $3.66 So not only did you save us from buying a new washing machine...for now, we also got $4.59 from our savings washer.
