It DOES move. It opens and closes.
Not only that, but it knows when it's knocked over, and says a different set of lines. (Ex. "I don't hate you.") Just because it's plastic, doesn't mean it should be cheap. I think that's a pretty reasonable price.

The new Portal gun has all of the colors used in Portal 2.
So you can use the colors you like and use the included magnetic blue and yellow stripes to make your gun look like an Atlas portal gun or a P-Body portal gun or mix the colors
You could also paint the stripes how ever you want and just stick them on your portal gun. The purple color on this gun is not as bright as the $140 Atlas Portal gun. The Portal gun is the same size and looks just as good as the $140 guns.

Adds to the fun. I got mine yesterday and tested out the magnetic details. If you want one no one else has, you could paint the "racing stripes" what ever colors you want and just snap them on.

You can plug this into your ipad charger!
Heres how:
Take the part of the charger that you plug into the wall
take out the usb that is going into it(The wire leading into the part that you plug into the wall)
plug the Portal 2 Sentry Turret USB into the part of your ipad/iphone that you put into a wall
put the USB into the turret
let it prepare

Wow. Simply wow. I'm even more convinced now that i know the portal gun shoots Invisible airballs. rather than portals.

Not sure if half of the comments on here are troll or not. I mean, it has a plethora of quotes (far more than the measly 3 shown on here), has a motion sensor, opening gun barrels, can sense when it is tipped over and vibrates.

Save for shooting projectiles and the cord, this is a near perfect turret replica. No other portal turret toy does this and the flashlight turret with a few lines is more than half the price of this one.

mmkay, for this to be worth it for me, I'd like it to have better speakers, more phrases, it shuts closed after being knocked over, the light is a laser light, and maybe it's a tad bigger. If it shot foam darts, that would also be an excellent touch. But I do love that it's motion activated and it opens and closes, that had me smiling. :) If it weren't so pricy I'd buy it.

Does anybody know how it works? Since it’s so rare I’ve been trying to figure out how to build one, I’ve also been trying to build a real turret that actually fires and everything, but I need to see the electronics to do so, anybody got a spare?
