Obviously because of Sentry Mode. Left my 2022 Model 3 for 4 days and lost barely 2-3%

Chris, for the love of god please don't start posting these types of videos without fleshing out the reasoning why, all you are doing is generating click bait and giving people potentially more reasons to not switch.

Sentry mode and always waking up the car will drain the battery

SentryMode uses 300w or around 1mile/hour, so 24hrs, 24miles = 8% for 300mi LR cars. Overheat protection if parked outside might do more, but only active for first 12hrs.
But: Once battery gets down to 20%, all consuming features shut off (sentry, overheat, etc), to protect the battery, and then you should only lose a few % per week or many days... unless it gets near freezing, and battery needs to use power to keep itself warm.

Misleading information: the creator should specify what conditions he left the car with (sentry mode on/off) most likely on because the drop is unjustifiable any other way.

Sentry mode and cabin protection feature. Turn those off and you’ll lose about .5-1% each day (I work at Tesla )

I regularly leave my model 3 at the airport for 8-10 days, sometimes more. With cabin overheat protection off and sentry mode off and checking on it every 4 days it rarely loses more than 1 or 2%

Your parking in an airport parking lot, there’s cameras everywhere, just turn century mode off if something actually happens it’ll be on the airport security cameras as well if you’re really worried about your battery. But most long-term lots don’t have a lot of people walking through them. They just drop off the card on their own own business.

Im dure it was due to century mode and cabin boverheat protection. Or you parking a very high traffic space. I always turn the cabin overheat protection off when in a parking garage

Sentry Mode on and parked in a high traffic spot (both vehicular and pedestrian). Not surprising!

Sentry mode and possibly overheat cabin protection

We went on vacation for 21 days and only lost 6% and it was over 100 degrees at home every day and had my climate control on car set to 100. Sentry was turned off as it was at home.

Sentry and waking it up by checking the app. I left my M3 parked with sentry off and not accessing the app for 1 month. I lost no battery.

Yes sentry mode will do that left mine at universal for 6 days lost 3 percent no sentry didnt open app

Dude it’s 4-5% per day for sentry mode. With sentry off it can go a week and drop 1%. There…I educated your viewers in 5 seconds

You should have a title reminding people to turn off sentry mode and explaining what happens if you don't when parking your vehicle for a longer period. I am travelling for just over 2 weeks so my Tesla will be left and I will not charge it up before parking as there are some lovely Tesla Chargers at the airport to use before I head home, if needed. Should arrive with at least 40% to leave the car.

Do you think i will be able to leave mine charging on a 2 day
