The fact that Grevious said he was trained in your Jedi Arts when facing the chef droid means the droid has Jedi training in lightsaber combat.

I love how this was a big reveal in EP III but, then the clone wars movie and show revealed that him and Obi-Wan fought at least once a week. I imagine Obi-was just thinking: "Yeah I know. This is like the 20th time we've fought. Kinda nuts how it took so long for you to finally meet Anakin. Anyhow, this time I'm playing for keeps."
