GIRL!!! I am proud of you! Um, did I say "so" proud? Yep! This is highly necessary, and you have articulated your argument BEAUTIFULLY!!! I'm contemplating writing on book on this very thing. I was 7 years old when I witnessed my sister being shot in the head by drive-by Klan shooters. I'm finally allowing myself to work through the trauma of that event, and there is so much I want to say.
