Before going for bug hunting learn basic concepts of JavaScript php when u read the source code u can understand structure of website which can help in finding logical flaw on the website

How long would you stay on one target without finding anything? I noticed you said you spend a whole day just clicking around figuring out how everything works. That definitely changes the way I think of it. I have been just going in and trying to XSS the first thing I see.
