I'm running this on my current first-time, no-spoilers, 100%, find everything, play through of this game, so I really appreciate you building on it. It's a very approachable build that lets me learn a lot about the stats and game mechanics quicker and easier than any other Soulsborne game has which is very satisfying. So while it may eventually become boring doing the same thing to the end of the game, I'm going to be a lot more prepared in my next build. I'd love to see frenzied, beastial and dragon build progressions because those as very unique for this game and very interesting to me for the next run.

I've been feeling really weak in the end parts of this game im fighting bosses i cant even stand toe to toe with out getting killed not even making a dent. After i rebuilt my character with Rennala using this build its like a breath of fresh air i feel like these bosses should be deadly afraid of me. Felt like i had to share this cause this build changed my love for this game even more

This looks like such a fun build and is very near to what I am already going for with my lvl 60 character. I've been using more spells in my off hand rather than dual wielding but I'm finding that there are so many spells I end up spoiled for choice and only use 2 or 3 anyway for range. That combined with the damage potential of another katana in addition to Moovneil has me very intrigued.

Also this is a fucking amazing channel with S tier content, as someone who gets anxiety by these larger games it really helps having a guiding hand. Plus it helped a buddy of mine get into Elden Ring as his first Fromsoft game. Out here helping us all git gud and it's much appreciated.

When you start doing the lvl 150 builds I’d love to see another bow build there ain’t much builds around the bows in the game

Anyone looking at this should definitely consider the Spellblade Set from Rogier. Each piece gives a damage boost to both moonveil and to glintblade phalanx (only the ash of war, not the spell).

Also note the glintblade phalanx stays up when you put the weapon away. So I have it on the lightest dagger I could find. I use a Sacrificial Axe in my off-hand and two-hand the moonveil. It gives 4 FP on kill (Sword of Milos gives 5 FP on kill, but it weighs a whole lot more). I also have Golden Vow on it for a solid 45-sec buff when needed (it can't take glintblade phalanx or I would have put it there instead of the dagger).

I also use the Ancestral Spirit Horn talisman for an extra 3 per kill. So, wandering around the world I get 7 FP per kill and typically kill things for 15 FP with Filigreed Crest plus potentially a glintblade phalanx (cost is also reduced by filigreed crest and increased damage from shard of alex as mentioned in the video). Often I'll kill things with just the sword for easier enemies also which net gains FP. Bottom line is I played this build through a bunch of the later game all the way through the final boss and never ran out of FP even with only carrying 3 FP flasks; it's nearly FP neutral.

Magic scorpion, ancestral spirit horn, carian filigreed crest, and a flex which is usually shard of alexander. Moonveil, dagger with glintblade phalanx, horn bow, a casting staff (situational), brass shield, sacrificial axe. Spellblade set.

I always like Katanas in previous games (Dark Souls Series), so when I look at list of Katanas, I immediately fall in love with Moonveil. And that brings me here in your video! I was running the same build before switching to a bleed build and people are not using Rogier spellblade enough with this build. Each piece adds extra damage for both ashes of war but for the hat I was using the +6 INT that added a good amount of damage. Also the critical hits to regain FP is a waste with this build, use the Sorseal talisman because it will boost the bow/katanas damage, extra weight for a brass shield offhand and extra stamina/hp, you also mention hitting to apply cold buff is better than critical hits.

You will also have enough endurance for a staff (recommend moonveil, bow, staff in right hand so it's easier to fast switch to shield in intense moments) and highly recommend the night mist spell. Your katana will bounce from Crystal' enemies and that spell will completely bypass their armor making them an easy target. You will also be able to cheese some other monsters in hard situations.

I honestly think I was doing more damage with my moonveil/frost build than ROB/Sepukku with all the require blood items but I like to keep things fresh and also like to min/max and don't like how my moonveil build looks. Basically refuse to use other than the rogier set with +6INT after doing test on my damage.

Ohh don't sleep on the horn bow with magic arrows, enchanted shot also tracks enemies so it's better than mighty shot and you will be able to kill regular trash in 1 or 2 hits. Most of the time you will not even need the ash of war to snipe them for afar

Wouldn't mind seeing a perfumer style build using the tools crossbows and items in crafting could be interesting but I'm sure whatever build you do next will be dope AF

I made the same thing, but using the freezing mist ash of war instead of the glintblade phallanx. The extra cold helps proc it even faster and I quite like using bleed and cold together.

This looks fantastic. On NG plus I was able to drop the fire giant in about a minute using katanas. The bleeds are absolutely amazing.
