Did the same run with my RTX 4090 and 5900X. 4K, ultra, ray tracing, dlss Quality and frame generation. You got like 5 fps more. Something is holding back the game. Especially in Hogsmeade.

Hello! This is me again! It’s sparked a curiosity in me about something I’ll refer to as the field of view. I’m pondering whether switching the resolution from 4K to 1080p actually impacts the amount of content visible on the screen. I’m aware that 2K and 4K offer a certain sharpness, but I’m curious if playing at 1080p with graphics maxed out would provide the same field of view as someone playing at 4K. I noticed a few instances of screen tearing during your benchmarking, which led me to question whether you had G-sync enabled during your downtime, rather than during benchmarking, especially if your monitor supports a refresh rate higher than 60Hz! I would greatly value your insight.

My frames are much lower with my 4090 paired with a 10900k @1440P ultra. I wonder if it's time to upgrade my CPU?

Dlss 2 & Dlss 3 causing some annoying graphical issues. Top of the line Cpu & Gpu can’t even hit 4k120 consistently. 😢 guess I’ll stick with my 12900k & 4090 setup until the next cpu &/or gpu generation. Keep up the good work, love seeing your channel growing. 🎉

Did you set “prefer cache” cores in bios ?
Have the same setup as yours and it hits like 10-15 fps lower than yours in this location on 1080p. Weird, I have win11 could it be the reason ?
Did you undervolt your cpu?

160fps in DOSS3.0 have true 160 fps fluidity ?

Its so weird no matter the undervolt and with a 420mm aio most games run a 72c a lot of the time

These RT benchmarks really need to be side by side with a 13900k, showing both RT on and off so we can see if the cache or frequency is more important for RT.... though Hogwarts Legacy is not a good game to show RT performance, as it's one of the worst RT implementations by a AAA game to date.
