Join us, Carol & Ken, as we set out on a new adventure in our Consort Nova Motorhome called Snoopy.
In this first video of the series, after an enjoyable meet up with our friends, Stew & Jane aka Getaway Geese, we visit the Roman city of Wroxeter to see the impressive remains of the bathhouse.
The next day, the hunt is on as we meet Tim & Claud aka A Dog A Day, who take us adder spotting.
We pop into Leeds while having some adjustments made to Snoopy at Consort Motorhomes then it’s time to hit the road and head for Scotland.

🔶 About us 🔶

Welcome to our channel! We're Carol and Ken, retired professionals turned van life enthusiasts. We share our adventures across the UK and Europe in our camper van, which we have just upgraded to a slightly larger model.

Our goal is to provide a relaxing, honest account of van life, with no scripted drama - just the real, day-to-day experiences of our travels. Many of our viewers find our content calming, and we hope you will too.

We're passionate about wild camping and love to share our knowledge and tips, from staying cool in the van to choosing the right toilet. We're always learning and look forward to sharing our campervanning experiences with you.

While we love the freedom of wild camping, we also enjoy supporting local businesses by indulging in delicious local food. Expect to see plenty of one-pan meals and restaurant visits in our videos.

We like historical sites, country homes, towns, villages, and the occasional city. We aim to share interesting facts and stories about the places we visit.

We post new videos every Friday at 6pm UK time, sometimes more often.

I enjoy your videos. I'm from Upper East Tennessee, USA. I'm 73 years old retired and I intended to travel but I am raising my youngest grandson, who is 21. He is on the autistim spectrum.. I know we would enjoy the UK, and the rest of Europe with our dogs. I was a police officer in the 80's and 90's and ended as a Court Liaison in social work. I would enjoy the off grid camping. Just wanted to say hello!

Hi there, i had exactly the same caravan, on my seasonal pitch i pay 18p per unit of electricity. In the winter i could easily use £50 - £60 pounds a week when it was really cold. I do like the caravan warm tho about 20oc. This was with the alde heating set on 2kw and the water turned off. Incase you did not know if you have your heating on you can turn the hot water off as the heating automatically heats the water when heating is on. Only time you might want to turn it on is if you plan on going for a shower as it gives you longer in the shower then. Goodluck. Hope you enjoy your new caravan. I loved my swift elegance. So much i bought a second one lol.

Thank you for the video. When I was younger, my friends and I went to a Renaissance Fair. They had a snake handler who did a show. So we all sat in a circle around him and he brought a few snakes to show us. Then at the end of the show, he said that the last one he was going to show us was very dangerous and if it gets away from him don't move because it strikes at movement. He pulled out a king cobra and laid it on the grass. Well, he's talking about it and it slowly starts crawling on the grass in my direction. So I just sat still and didn't move. When it's about 3 feet away it raises up and the hood expands. The guy goes "Whoop!" And grabs it up. As he's holding it, he says to me, "I'm impressed." Then puts it back in the box. Well, I thought that was a funny stunt and I turned to say something to my friends and they had all ran away. I was sitting there by myself. 😮😅

You could get those chopping boards that fold up at the sides when you've finished chopping. This creates a kind of funnel to tip your veg into the pan without losing any to the hob or floor. All the best to you x

I'm eating a pizza while watching you, because you always make me hungry, when I see your delicious meals 😅. I'm always amazed how construction from past centuries are still here, without all modern technologies, while today many buildings break down after a couple of years. This was a lovely vlog. I'm glad you had a good time with your friends 👍

I am so happy you are doing Scotland. Verner and I never made it, but I'm on a journey to show him, in spirit. You and Country House Gent, really masses of pearls of wisdom. Yes Ken, the sun visor is really built for short people! 😅
