It would *really* help if you used the clear fin unit that should have been included in the kit, and even has special *color* instructions included. Or did you think it was just protective packaging and threw it away? If so, you can probably get a replacement from Estes.

I knew that all future flights were likely doomed when he called the recovery wadding "kleenex" lol

Please use the clear fin for aerodynamics plus a C5 or C6-3 rocket motor for more altitude 🚀📡🔭

Hey Bill and GB! Pretty sure that Verner Vonbraun Started out the the same way and he eventually made it to the moon! Just be thankful that they weren't manned flights ha ha! Thumbs up! Cheers!

Merry Christmas, I just received this as a gift and I need a little help with the parachute, does the rubber band do almost all the way in first? Then the parachute and string with the rest connected to the nose after? Also, need the little clear fin attached to the bottom which explains why it didn’t fly.

Isn't there supposed to be a clear plastic set of fins that attach to the bottom? They give the rocket more stability. Also, are you using a C6-3 motor? It looks like your delay is way too long, like maybe you used a C6-7?

You need the D12 – zero engine for it to work

You didn't use the clear plastic flight fins which are" mandatory" for flight and a minimum C6-3 or Super C5-3 motor. You obviously didn't bother to read the instructions. I heard you say Kleenex?? That can catch fire you should only use fire retardant Shute wadding. This rocket is a beautiful flyer. I have 9 flights on mine with no issues. Just make sure the flight fins are seated correctly when you screw the motor retainer ring on it can be a little tricky . If its not seated correctly you WILL have more fight issues. The instructions clearly spell out how to install the motor and flight fins. **This is a great what not to do video** . Always wondered how it would fly without the fins. Subscribed!

No I will make it fly straight the fins that come with the model

The rocket comes with temporary large clear fins for a reason. So the dummies can wreck a $60 rocket...

These RTF didn’t fly well at all. Same issue with my SLS.
