Bay Area towns are seeing an influx of turkeys this time of year, not just on their tables. John Ramos was in Fremont where wild turkeys are actually on the attack.

This could be considered a blessing.... free food delivered right to the home. And turkey meat doesn't get any fresher than this.

No, this behavior is normal... as males get older they become more dominate and aggressive, especially with males... like they have something to prove to their peers. AKA punks! And, as is with all creatures, they learn from repetition. Folks entertain this kind of BS, and, just as with children, they grow up with a warped sense of entitlement and unrealistic expectations if clearly defined lines are not established early on. I had a farm for a few years, raised various species of foul/bird... they learn fairly quick. Often, folks would stop by and the birds would intimidate them, when the people acted like fools it was inciting the birds to behave more aggressively. Slap the sht out of them a couple times, they learn and leave you alone... often becoming rather friendly when they realize your not a threat, have no fear, and will ring their bell.
