edit: for all of the people who say they like the hammer pump shotgun, i admit that it's a fine weapon. the problem is that it's been outclassed by just about every other option in every season it's been in.

Notably, the Sovereign has a faster fire rate when hipfiring and slower while ADSing, so it kinda has a mix of both the Gatekeeper and Hammer Pump, being able to hit strong hits up close if you can line up the shot, or being useful as a panic option if you get jumped or someone suddenly materializes in your box

Gatekeepers for w-keying, hammer pumps most consistent, and sovereigns a mix of both. I still love the gatekeeper but the sovereign does feel slightly better in my opinion 😅

The sovereign should be renamed the tickle shotgun. It does no damage unless you’re making out in the same box as the other person.

i always pick the gatekeeper. when i picked the new shotgun the gold always did 34 damage to the body for me

Gatekeeper is still better cause it has better damage than the new one when not aiming. I see the new one as the no build way to go

My favourite thing abt the sovereign is that when u ads it is slow but accurate but if u get into someone’s box and don’t ads it fires rly quick with less accuracy so it feels like the hammer pump and gatekeeper combined
