Perhaps after a few more launches, their narration will become much better. SpaceX do it much better now, probably due to their more extensive experience of launching and narrating. I especially love it whenever SpaceX include the applause and the clapping from the guys in the control centres as well. It just adds to the exciting atmosphere.

this lanch probably costs 50 times more than it would cost to SpaceX. Their engine does not land, it gets destroyed.

SpaceX to Boeing: "Name one thing you do better than we do."
Boeing to SpaceX: "We make you look good."

Okay, first thing the guy says is that the Starliner engines didn't fire when it reached orbit which isn't true, the engines fired too long and burned too much fuel so they couldn't get to the ISS after that. Credibility already shot with the first thing that comes out of his mouth.

Such exciting news for USA to get back in the game with space missions and exploration.

Americans should be proud of this big launch!🇺🇸... (unlike many here).

good for them.. amazingly slow progress though.. disappointingly slow progress.. Boeing! Doing half as much in twice the time! For 10x the price! The ultimate anti agile program!

The RD180 engine powering this mission is a Russian design and built in Russia! Also, did anyone ELSE notice that the SRBs did not LAND. I love Boeing and ULA, but it seems to me that they are still trailing SpaceX by a significant margin.

Boeing (just like Microsoft) - If you have a glitch, just reboot.

User - But not in the middle of.... GAK!

I don't understand why Starliner would ever be used when the can use the tried and true Falcon for much cheaper.

Boeing built the first stage of the Saturn V once upon a time. They built the 747, the 777. Once upon a time the engineers were supposed to be right next to the manufacturing and spend a lot of time seeing how their parts turned out. Now, someone in India who has no idea of how gravity works writes code over call for some management fellow in Chicago

3rd time lucky. i like that doctor analogy. here in the uk, the doctor is free, also the ambulance to go to the hospital is free. space x really have woken up boeing though. they wont be able to be this slow or 100s of % over budget next time. everyone is a winner & finally we get some action in space.

Dudes, if Starship actually flies, then the entire capsule stuff will be completely obsolete.

Americans have launching rockets into space since the 1960's, shouldn't this stuff be routine by now?

Can it be reused and land itself back? If not boeing your behind!
