Meet Our Highly Specialized Cancer Care Expert Dr. Mohamad N. Barakat

Hope is growing in Southern California! The addition of Pacific Shores Medical Group to the City of Hope family expands our cancer care network to more than 35 sites across Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties. Mohamad N. Barakat, M.D., is among the acclaimed physicians joining City of Hope from Pacific Shores Medical Group.

Dr. Barakat is a medical oncologist and hematologist at City of Hope. Dedicated to collaboration and innovation in patient care, Dr. Barakat focuses on working as a team with fellow experts from across oncology specialties and offering access to leading-edge technology at City of Hope. He is particularly excited to provide his patients with the latest targeted therapies and immunotherapies. Finding inspiration in his patients’ resilience, optimism and determination, Dr. Barakat approaches his work with the same level of determination.
