It makes complete sense to me that Brittany is straight. If she was queer but not cognizant of it, she would probably be extremely upset and jealous by Isabel and Josie, but that doesn't seem to be the case. She does want female companionship though, it's unusual to see that depicted. It was definitely a hard scene to watch though, it's too real lol

The comedy didn't really hit with me either most of the time... And the "feminist" parts were just weird. Also, Ruby Cruz needs to lead a lesbian movie rom com or not.

I think this film will be seen as a lesbian film. Which could be seen as bad because honestly it isnt if that makes since. because its not this is the ugly untalented teen movie for all people Straight people included, and this film and it should be marketed as such. A coming of age teen film showing the neonces of being a ugly and untalented teenagers. This hide men and it's representation which is refreshing its the showing of all the flavors of feminity. Lets face it Females are complex. I also Ioved when she asked the how many have been raped.. And grey stuff matters. because in this scene it showed the elephant in the room the constant under current that all female know and do not say. i also liked that it didnt beat u in the head with the im a lesbian and this is a lesbian movie. And showing That lesbians can be friends and be the main part of the movie can be a healthy and not healthy at time friend ship. You do stupid things u don't think about it. And its how you handle it. Yeah I just wish this was marketed at all. Lets just say it this is a great film I want everyone to have a option seeing

I don't know I just really dislike this film's messaging. I wish lesbian teenagers could get something for once less overtly sexual and stereotypical. There's obviously nothing wrong with depicting lesbian sex, but really? A movie about two loser freaks who try to trick their way into sleeping with straight cheerleaders? It just icks me, especially cause the movie is really clear about the characters not just being sapphic, but being *lesbians*, while none of the creators are.
