That's very smooth for a forward tilting landing gear plane (other forward tilting example is A350-900 & A380). Usually plane with backward tilting gear is smoother (A330, 787, etc)

A smooth landing isn't necessarily an ideal landing. The objective is to touch down at the specified location in order to maximize stopping distance and clear the runway asap. ATC doesn't appreciate pilots using up extra runway to feather the landing.
