Like everyone else I am still processing Bray's passing. I've spent most of the past few days crying. But I think this incredible song and WWE's incredible tribute video has helped me start to heal.

Bray's passing is a tremendous loss to the wrestling world. He was (and still is) one of the most unique characters in wrestling history, personally and professionally. He was an incredible athlete, he was an incredible storyteller, but most importantly, he was an incredible person. Even before he passed away, I've never heard anyone say a bad thing about Bray.

Maybe his ideas weren't to your liking, maybe his characters were strange and confusing at times. But he poured every inch of his soul into everything he did. As a performer, he gave us all he had to give. And it breaks my heart knowing he still had so much more to give. Not only in terms of his in-ring work, but also his potential as a backstage producer/writer once he hung up his boots for good.

But the more I think about it, the more grateful I am to have experienced his creativity, than I am upset at his passing. Bray Wyatt was an inspiration to me. He was a hero. And I will never forget him.

Rest in Peace Windham. Thank you for the memories.
