For security, this is exactly how you handle a show like this: Have a clear white line behind where the band is, and if too many people cross it you gently try to corral them so the band doesn't get messed up, but you let the crowd bring their own energy. Jacob often encourages the crowd to interact, so having a security guy who knows how to handle lots of people and doesn't escalate is absolutely vital. This guy was great.

In the myriad of bands and extreme music, Converge exists as a unique entity unto themselves, blending pain, anger, aggression, love, energy and emotion unlike any other band. Always innovating, evolving, and pushing boundaries, all while staying true and loyal to themselves. The fact that they’ve done this across the decades and are STILL the pinnacle despite fads and trends is a testament of creativity, passion and devotion to their craft. Stunning and inspirational.

I'm almost 40 so I dont get to go to many shows anymore, but I always go see converge in Boston when they play. I think I've seen them 40 times by now.
