// My Story

I am currently a software developer who once modeled and thought I wanted to pursue a career in the fashion industry. While I was modeling in Hong Kong, I eventually felt the desire to further my education. I decided to depart the modeling world and move back to Canada, knowing that could be the end of my modeling opportunities. I attended Ryerson University for GCM (Graphic Communications Management), as I thought I might still work in the fashion industry in another capacity. It was in my last year of university, I was introduced to a very basic coding course. I instantly fell in love. From there I knew I wanted to pursue software development but didn't have a clue where to start. I didn't want to go back to university as I just completed a four-year degree. I decided to enroll in a 10-week intensive coding Bootcamp. From there I started working at a small startup learning and growing my technical and soft skills. I then transitioned to a larger company where I am a software developer and technical consultant today.

She doesn't really need to be talking about blockchain or anything else, but definitely a big bonus ;)

Thanks for the info.

I recently started Udacity Blockchain Nanodegree program. After couple of weeks, I started get annoyed by how most of their content was outdated. Most of them were written in 2018 and the code snippets they provide weren't even working. It was so frustrating so I decided to cancel my membership. But because I passed the timeframe they didn't refund my money.

I would strongly suggest to stay away from them.

You need solidity, and a backend language. The backend language may be Java, C++. However, it's best to learn JavaScript before learning solidity.

Hi. I'm very late to the game at 49 yrs old I'm looking into learning blockchain from scratch. The last time I did any coding was at school in 1986 to 1989, Yikes! So here I am looking up "Blockchain development for beginner's". Its a mine field. I have dipped my toes into crypto and I have myself a few coins that have brought me some small profit but I want to understand the basics. Thanks for the video.

I am taking a blockchain course in my country. Will finish it at the end of this year. I have 10 years working experience as a factory engineer. This new field is what am passionate about, but I wonder whether I can bargain for next salary as I have zero experience as a developer/programmer.

Solidity and Javascript are the key. If you learn how to use Truffle and Hardhat you're on the right track, also RUST is a good alternative and Golang.

In the end all you're gonna need to do is learn how to deploy a SC in different networks.

Pyteal, rust, and a understanding of SQL (GUI) helps.. SHA 256 and above... Just to add a few. 😎👍

I would say I literally rewatch your videos everyday 😂 🤣 . Because it helps me get the motivation I need. Thank you tiff and don't stop making content because you are making so much impact in people's life

Probably I good option for a programming language would be js (with Typescript) and node. Solidity looks very like JavaScript/Typescript. Also for people like me who have worked in web dev and node for sometime it is really a straight forward option. I am just started learning Blockchain dev and it is a lot of moving parts, but at least I don't need to think about learning a new language, syntax etc. That helps

Tysm, i highly recommend that all beginners who's start learning block chain developers. It's most likely nd basic. Simply explain all key points on this video, and few key points are missing there Ganas, Truffle, web3js etc.. but this video are really awesome 🙂
