Quaids Rd, Cairns, FNQ, the unmapped bike road

Southedge-Wangetti Rd (aka Quaids Rd), a thoroughfare that no one seems to know about. I've never had the guts to cut the chains on these gates and have a look, today was my lucky day. The gates were open and I could enjoy the whole road to myself!

Thanks for showing that. When I drove the road 20 years ago it was in much better condition. I was surprised at that time that a pristine road was unused. Sad to see it has deteriorated so much.
