Gini coefficient is lower than in 2010
Top 20% had slower income growth than middle 60% over that time.
Purely down to government policy. Of enormous above inflation increase in personal tax allowance.

The garbage definition of poverty you all use will have fallen last year. As it does during recessions. Even though 0 improvement for the bottom.
But because the used definition is "Dave next door has a nicer car". If Dave's car gets slightly less nice, you apparently aren't in as poverty as you were.
