When I play in bars, I usually do a set of songs by our country's greatest songwriters - Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Bob Dylan, Buddy Holly, Hank Williams, John Hartford, Chuck Berry, etc. Next time I play, I'm going to do a Rodney Crowell set. God DAMN he's good! - and has been for a long, long time. He hasn't lost a step. This song is as good as anything he ever wrote.
