A-10 Thunderbolt II and F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter aircraft perform an Elephant Walk on the runway during Exercise Beverly Herd 16-01 at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. The Elephant Walk was a demonstration of United States Air Force capabilities and strength.

The Hog is still one of my favorite planes. Some call it ugly, but you can see the beauty of its purpose, help the grunts on the ground and nothing else can do that than the A-10 Thunderbolt II (Warthog).

The USAF have been trying for years to retire it.

The A-10 is designed to withstand hits, and has proven it in combat. The other aircraft can be brought down with a dirty look. You can blow half a wing off the Hog and it would respond with the 30mm and a middle finger for good measure, and still make it back home.

For the sake of the soldiers on the ground who repeatedly get put in bad situations. Keep this aircraft in the inventory until the USAF can prove they have a viable alternative.

Odd how all these aircraft probably cost around the same as one F35 and the USAF can't stand the sight of them...
