Is Glisten Really that GOOD? | Dandy's World

I think Glisten is best used if you don''t have Vee, Just like how Finn is worse Shelly.

I feel like there is no Dandy's Work Character that is "TRULY" trash. I've played Glisten b4 and he was one of my fav best toons that I've played. The range of his ability is not a problem if you actually do play him. His ability also allows him to easily travel into the elevator without being detected by twisteds that are camping at the elevator. The 100s cooldown is a lot, but if they made the cooldown to let's say 60s, it would be way to overpowered. The confused effect isn't a big deal cuz it doesn't last more then 5 sec (u usually use it at elevator, so it doesn't matter). Overall, not satisfied with this vid, BUT I won't dislike it cuz it is ur opinion. I just don't agree with the points u made about glisten.

I find glisten to be sooo much better than vee in public runs and vee to be better than glisten in private. In conclusion, shrimpo is better than both of them.

Glisten is still kinda better cause he can survive longer with his ability and stats plus a 5 star extraction is insane! The 2 star skill check shouldn’t be a problem if ur good at hitting them.

Logically, it does make sense having confused 3 on u after teleporting, girlie be spinning that mirror
But i do say, 100 seconds is ALOT, they should decrease it cause its literlly just scraps but can go through walls and such

I think hes a vee alternative, if you arent ready for the abysmal stamina and speed, but wanna be a great extractor like vee, you get glisten! (with the only drawbacks being skill check and stealth). He is legitimately so underrated, he can easily teleport out of chases which helps nullify his low stealth, and with a decently skilled skill check lander, similar to tisha, he's practically superman. He's lowkey so underrated gameplay wise. (NOT CHARACTER, i know everyone likes this pookie wookie, cuz same lol 😋😋)

The thing is… I think Glisten is the absolute BEST non-main in the entire game, possibly with the exception of Goob. It makes sense that he wouldn’t be as good as Vee.

While his ability is very situation and often doesn’t really help at all, it’s honestly super fun and one of my favorite abilities to use. I also think Confusion III is there more for lore reasons rather than gameplay (at least now that the roleplay update’s out), since we see a paper in Glisten’s room that says that he’s insecure about getting dizzy after he does the mirror trick.

I think Glisten is meant to ease players into Vee’s playstyle. He has the same stealth as her, but it’s a bit easier to stay out of danger due to his 3 star movement speed, which usually happens to be an absolute game changer.

Honestly, I think I preffer distracting as Glisten cus it's way funnier than doing it as a Pebble or Goob, but it's also the reason why I haven't complete my mastery yet...

i do think this is a really unique take on glisten though, however my personal opinion is that vee is better for more casual long runs with people newer to long runs as a whole while glisten provides a lot more value in serious long runs if they are played correctly! his stats and extra heart allow him to be a extractor/tank hybrid, which also pairs really well with sprouts ability atm (there is a lot more glisten can do but this comment is already incredibly long😭😭)

i still think glisten gets outclassed by shelly especially with time being a major concern in long runs however imo glisten provides a lot more value than vee easily since vees abilities are eventually useless once you get good enough at the game (you will no longer need mic check if you can identify twisteds quickly and you wont need her passive if people just dont miss machines and have good comms)

please dont take this badly, my personal record is 140 atm and i am not speaking from a casual perspective at all LMAO, just wanted to leave my thoughts here ^^ this is incredibly good for your first dandys world vid (THE EDITING IS SO GOOD) and theres a lot of great points in here nonetheless!

Yeah i really agree but reflection giving confused 3 for 5 seconds has almost no effect, also teleporting through obstacles also stops line of sight with the twisteds so it's lika a one time save if you have good coordination with your team, but like you said abilities that rely on your teammates are overrated

Tbh, glisten is a alternative version of vee. If you cant afford vee right now, hes an option until you get her.
