I've seen your video, because I've the same issue on this laptop, and I was lucky to find an competent and honest engineer as you have shown to be, who have searched the defective component, to fix the problem of this motherboard, which isn't cheap; congratulation for your professionalism.

Woow, this is seriously great find. Finding that almost temperaturelly undisturbed heat spot and pinpoint it as a source of the problem, this is masterfully done

Wow Alex, what a dedication to your craft, working way pass your time to go home, am learning a lot from you, the way you go thru your process of elimination without even knowing what might be the bad component to triple confirming the bad component before replacing it, it does take time to get it fix, for me that's what I've learn, sometime it take me hours, but you are a great source of inperation, thank you so much, good job on this one.

Another victory for Alex. Good find. More amps would be more temperature but could do more damage. Good thermal camera is worth it's weight in gold.

Love your enthusiasm every time you repair a job whether simple or complex... Some of your techniques have been very helpful on trouble shooting some of my issues. Great work and on this laptop motherboard very good eye in finding that discoloration because I wouldn't have found it! I purchase 3 lots of the Amtech Flux but the code didn't work. All good though. I'd buy so much more from you but unfortunately the shipping costs are killing us in Australia. Hopefully customs here won't hold onto the flux for long. Thank you again for what you do.
