Budapest Emergency Medical Services/ Saint Martin Children's ambulance 603 responding.
Check below for some information about the vehicle and its lights & sirens.

First of, some basic information about the vehicle:
603 is a 2016 Mercedes Benz Sprinter/ System Strobel (German ambulance manufacturer).
It has a 200hp and 6-cylinder engine.
The ambulance has around 2,500 calls per year.
Both the Szent Márton Gyermekmentő Szolgálat Közhasznú Alapítvány (Saint Martin Children Rescue Foundation) and the National Ambulance Service of Hungary cooperate to run this vehicle. Hungary's EMS is run by that government agency by the way.

2nd would be the lights and sirens.
The vehicle has 2 siren modules. A German 2-tone siren (with 3 different 2-tone sirens) and a Federal Signal AS380 siren which includes wail, yelp, 2-tone and horn - that siren is extremely common in Hungary. Not sure if the AS380 is coming out of the same speakers as the 2-tone or if it has its own speakers somewhere hidden. It definitely appeared quieter than it usually is on all other vehicles.
There are 2 lights below the windshield which are not working :(
As usual for modern Hungarian EMS vehicles, this one has quite a few red lights in the front due to better visibility, especially from the distance. Could have been more red lights on this unit though. Anyways, the interesting part comes now.
From what I've experienced in all the time there and through a lot of YouTube videos is, that the red lights (in the lightbar) are almost always on the right side of the front. The reason is totally understandable in Budapest since blue lights are almost "unique" in traffic and stick out at intersections. The cars which have to yield first are coming from the left side and are in a pretty close range to the vehicle. But this unit got it the other way - red's on the left and blue's on the right. Not a bad thing, especially since it has some dual color lighting on the left now but it's just very rare.

If you want to count the lights: 2 grill lights, 2 on the hood, 2 on the mirror, altogether 4 located in the top of the front and the rear, 2 intersection lights, 4 additional lights in the center of the side of the box (2 on each side) and finally 2 flashing red rear lights (unfortunately not too bright but still something). = 18 lights.

I personally find this vehicle very interesting and definitely a cool catch! Love the graphics on it, awesome job on that!

Budapest, Hungary, April 13 2017.
