The Pokemon Online trading card game is literally NFT. When you open packs, there is a code card and use it online to open packs digitally. You can buy, trade or sell the digital pokemon cards like the Shiny Charizard Vmax. The digital cards are playable and sellable.

Still struggling to understand the value behind these NFTS. If I print off the Mona Lisa I will have an extremely good digital copy or physical copy of the Mona Lisa however this means nothing as it is not the original hand painted art work by Leonardo da Vinci a historical figure and an art piece which is hundreds of years old. But lets say Oliur creates and NFT of himself smiling which sells for 10eth. It is an image, which are pixels, so if I am to then copy said image, yes I am not the "owner" and unable to re-sell the NFT but would I not own the exact pixels that the owner has. Making it virtually the exact same? only difference is the owner is labelled the owner and can sell his version of the NFT? But both the original NFT and my copied would show the exact image and share the same digital pixels? sorry if its hard to understand what I'm saying but its just so hard to comprehend that these NFTS could ever rival or hold similar value to current physical Art pieces.

There are other blockchains NFTs can be minted on. FLOW for instance is specifically made for NFTs to my understanding. It was made by the creators of CryptoKitties, who ran into major scaling issues with NFTs on Ethereum. They recently introduced NBA Top Shot, which has an official license with the NBA. I've been getting into it the last several months and it has been super fun, worth checking out!

I think the power comes when NFTs are attached with other benefits, other than the monetary value and the asset itself. Especially useful for creators than can offer a lot of benefits to NFT holders. Was this something you came across?
