Lecture 19: The 'Tragedy of the Commons'

To kick off a new section of the course on 'Conservation & Environmental Management,' Lecture 19 introduces students to a deeply embedded notion in Western culture, Garret Hardin's famous, "Tragedy of the Commons," or the idea that common pooled resources will always inevitably be overexploited.
