Introduction to Oral History: Project Planning and Interviewing Basics

Practical tips for those hoping to document community history through the methodology of oral history. Participants became familiar with the principles, ethics, and best practices of oral history; learned key oral history interviewing techniques; and discussed project planning and recording. The workshop included a series of interactive listening exercises.
