If I may make a few small suggestions:??
Your smoker isn't just meant to be hot smoked, cool smoke will work out for you much better. Hot smoke can be the complete opposite in this case. The cool particle rich smoke is what blocks the bees communication method.
Also slowww down. Bees process movement incredibly more rapidly than us humans. So instead of removing hive cover quickly, moving hands quickly, even leaning over hive body repeatedly will cause bees to be energized by these things...
Again, first time viewer (so I could be way off here..) so I'm not calling you into question. You might be more commercial get them done minded.? No worries, just an observation.
