Adam Savage as Kylo Ren Incognito at Comic-Con 2016!

For 2016's Comic-Con incognito walk through the show floor, Adam does something different and gets suited up from a booth in the exhibit hall. Dressed as Kylo Ren (costume by Anovos), he ventures out to meet other Star Wars cosplayers and visits the Lucasfilm booth to see some collectibles up close.

Adam Driver the actor in the movie was a US Marine I imagine after all the gear they have to carry the costume would have seemed light in comparison.

I'm not into cosplay at all but I enjoy these vids mostly because Adam seems like such an approachable and down to earth guy and his interaction with fans especially kids is fantastic.

Even though Adam is a famous television personality, does speeches and cosplays often, he still exudes an "socially awkward nerd" kind of vibe, heheh, I think I love him more because of that. He really is a nerd at heart.

This reminds me when I was in Disneyland. There was this 8 year old kid dressed up as Kylo Ren. Full mask, full robes, even had a saber. He's all swaggering, swinging his saber, posing for photo's. I see him and I shout:
"Hey Kylo Ren!"
He turns and sees I had a camera in my hand. He holds up his blade like he's a baseball player. Very awesome kid.

This is why I love this man as a human. He goes out to have fun, and turns into what should be the definition of a cosplayer. He teaches people, has a great attitude about meeting people, and still seems... normal despite being so well known.

Half of comicon is a good costume, the other half is having charisma and being nice to everyone there. I put together a great mandalorian cosplay, but I feel like I was too serious, not a lot of fun. Or "too into" the costume. I'm not 100% there, but I'm glad I get to watch the great videos to work on what I love doing.
