Night Sky Network members joined us on Tuesday, March 24, when Frank Summers shared with us the legacy of 30 years of exploration with the Hubble Space Telescope.

After three decades of observations, the Hubble Space Telescope has redefined cosmic wonder. Both the broad range of scientific discoveries and the immensely rich tapestry of images have vastly extended the boundaries of what was previously thought possible. Its resounding impacts from planetary systems to the edge of the universe and from scientific journals to popular culture have made it the most important telescope since Galileo’s. Join Dr. Summers for a lavishly illustrated exploration of the history, accomplishments, and celestial splendor of Hubble.
