I like this ball. I purchased one for my son also.
Has a nice hook on med to light oil.
Has nice back end motion. I love the solid hit.
I would like to see more reviews on this ball, seems like it got lost in a crowded market.

I just purchased this ball a few days ago and have used it two times. My first ball is a Columbia 300 Nitrous, 13 lbs, which I really enjoy. I can throw it one or two-handed but prefer two-handed because I can really make it hook that way. I know how the ball will react from just about any where I choose to throw it from. The Beast that I just purchased is 14 lbs. You make it look so easy but I'm having a hard time with it. I find that my best shot is if I throw two-handed and release the ball at the bottom left of the lane (I throw right-handed). This is how I sometimes see Belmonte throw the ball, from the extreme left corner of the lane, directed to the right and then it hooks back. Most every other throw I try the ball just hooks too much before it gets to the pins. Maybe it's a combination of how I throw and my speed (I'm not that fast, about 11-11.5 mph). The 13 lb ball fits my play. I haven't quite figured out how to use the Beast yet, but I'm still working on it. My next plan is just to stand at the foul line and swing my arm a few times and let the ball go from different positions and see what happens. But as it is now, if I release the ball anywhere from the center arrow or right of it, by the time it reaches the pins, it's not in the pocket. I have also tried throwing it with less hook, just pushing it forward. Sometimes I get an okay shot (the ball will hook on its own a little), sometimes not. But if I try and throw it with some speed I hit in the wrong spot and if I throw it slower to give the ball time to hook, I don't hit with much power. I was hoping to be able to do more than just release it at the bottom left of the lane.
