There are two possibilities for this:
Option 1: This trailer is purely meant to build conversation around the movie and will be used as a decoy until they can release the actual trailer, hence why it is called “A Minecraft Movie” and not “The Minecraft Movie”
Option 2: Option 1 is pure copium and this is what we are getting.

I've seen "it's made for kids" so many times and it shouldn't be an excuse for why something is this bad.

Can't wait to see "A Roblox Movie" and have Chris Pratt, as Roblox Builderman (it would be just Chris in a helmet and black hoodie) slowly turn to the main character, and says "Life... IS ROBLOX." and have the main character stare at him akwardly. That would be soo peak ong.

things people get wrong about this movie:
1- the fact that its not a minecraft movie. its not, ok. its a minecraft legends movie because if piglins were to go into the over world, they would die.
2- "steve" isnt just jack black in a blue shirt, he is jack black in TWO blue shirts, one being a turtle neck, one being a v neck

Jason Momoa should have been Steve. He has a much more accurate build and even skin color to the actual Steve character. Jack Black should have been playing Notch if anyone. This whole project is just so poorly executed.

They should have just given element animation a bunch of money and a lot of people to help them, but they would probably just blow it all on a Villager News movie.

The Minecraft Legends connection makes total sense because the thing that always bothered me about this game is that the piglins can be in the over world without zombifieing and this movie does the same thing
