I once went to a bar in Michoacán and the cartels told everyone to get down. They were looking for a guy and they took him with them. They apologized for frightening us and told us to have a good day. Different people out there.

I’m Mexican, from Michoacán actually, so this hits close to home . Glad you’re bringing awareness to it in an educational way .

Aye bro don’t comment often, but starting from cali “where we’re from” and seeing how much your channel had expanded with just starting with California to literally international is awesome. Keep up the good work we’re all rocking with you!!!

It’s awesome how you’ve been transitioning more to like an informational documentary style format where you go into the complete backstory of everything it makes the videos so much more interesting & makes it so u can tell ur not just some culture vulture repeating stories of violence solely for profit without any consideration for the victims & families, which can’t be said for most channels in this genre. So glad ur gonna focus more on the surrounding history & societal problems that cause these swamp stories to occur & not just be listing off who killed who.

Do one for the Gulf Cartel, I think they're the oldest active cartel in Mexico today, it'll be interesting diving into that organizations history

driving thru guadalajara one time i saw 4 bodies hanging from an overpass. really hard to convince my little sister of how amazing mexico is when that was the first time she’s ever seen a dead body and it was in her first trip to mexico with me

I’m born and raised in atl but I’ve always gone to Mexico since a child I’ve witnessed violence and corruption first hand I’m from a small town in Michoacán called Zamora and the first time I witnessed violence was a huge shoot out middle of town where a restaurant owner was killed basically in front of me I’ve seen busses on fire with people in it the worst of things but my love for Mexico is to strong I turn an eye I go but stay vigilant Mexico is one of the most beautiful places in the world and I’ve never ran into trouble personally

My family is from tonaya, Jalisco and let me tell you the cartel has that city completely safe, there’s no burglary’s, no rapes etc . Police don’t even roam the city anymore

As an American previously living in Los Angeles & now living in a small town in Jalisco; I can tell you it's safer than LA. I also had the American mentality of what the cartel was, then realized the cartel are normal people w/ a better opportunity to make money as there really isn't good education or career opportunities. I still don't understand the point/value of those guys in the parking lots helping cars back-up; it's not a real job, but better than begging.

my dad was born and raised in Veracruz from '71-90's. i asked him if he's ever seen any cartel activity or violence growing up. he said he didn't really see that kind of stuff and it was a much safer area than it is today. id love to visit mexico and see my family, but hearing about this stuff is terrifying and quite sad tbh.

Just outside but 20 min away from Patzcuaro Michoacan. That's where my bloodline comes from. That's where my heart is.
